An Ashington woman was left in tears after things took an angry turn on Channel 4 show Four in a Bed this week.
While the concept of the hit Channel 4 show - essentially a hotel version of Come Dine With Me - sounds rather peaceful, there is often a few arguments as competing B&B owners find out what their rivals think of their businesses.
But never has there been an episode quite like the one which aired on Friday night, involving Katrin Keech, a waitress at The Portland Hotel, Bar & Kitchen in Ashington.
Filming for the run of episodes took place last year and Katrin was dealt a blow when her Four in a Bed partner in crime, The Portland's general manager Gary, had to pull out due to illness.
This meant that she hosted the other competing couples on her own as they headed to the North East, trying to make a good impression while filming for up to 15 hours a day.
And things got too much for her and three of the other competing B&Bs when the underhand tactics of rivals, Karen and Graham from Perthshire guest house Tigh Na Leigh, came to light in dramatic fashion in the final episode.
If you've ever watched Four in a Bed before, you'll know the final episode is when the hoteliers find out how much their competitors feel a stay at their business is worth.
And Karen and Graham caused a storm, not just among the contestants, but on Twitter too, as they underpaid all of the other B&Bs, including The Portland, which they left £45 short and resulted in the hotel finishing in 3rd place in the final standings.
As Karen and Graham's actions left their rival massively insulted, filming was cut short but Katrin appeared right at the end in tears and said: "I feel great coming 3rd. At least it's third place I can be proud of," before adding: "Karen and Graham won, I'm fuming about this and I wish them everything, but nothing good."
Four in a Bed viewers were full of praise for Katrin on social media, with, one admitting they may have judged her too early, tweeting: "I've totally changed my mind about Katrin. She's very nice & very fair, unlike that old cabbage, Karen."
