Four HMP Lowdham Grange prison officers have been found not guilty of assaulting an inmate.
After a trial at Nottingham Crown Court, the men were cleared of an allegation of assault causing actual bodily harm to prisoner Jordan Barnes, who was serving 11 years for aggravated burglary.
Mark Taylor, 50, Darren Meller, 41, Samuel Harsthorn, 21, and Lagos Angyal, 35, had all pleaded not guilty.
The charges related to an incident where prison officers went into his HMP Lowdham Grange cell in "riot gear", the jury had been told.
It was alleged the incident involved "excessive and unnecessary force", with all four defendants jointly liable for what occurred during the process.
But the jury found all four not guilty.
