Police are searching for a sick killer after four dogs tied to bricks were found drowned in a lake.
Authorities in Oklahoma, US, are pleading for people to come forward after a number of dogs have been discovered at Edwards Park in east Oklahoma City.
The first dog was found tied to a brick on January 19 after Oklahoma City Animal Shelter were informed of the animal cruelty.
And a further three dogs have been found in the last two months.
Oklahoma City Police Department said in a statement on Facebook: "Absolutely infuriating. Someone has been drowning dogs at Edwards Park in east Oklahoma City and we are working with OKC Animal Welfare on this investigation."
Animal welfare organisation's are currently helping police with their investigation.
Major Sergeant Jennifer Wardlow said there's a pattern developing as each dog is found being with a cinder block or brick tied round them.
She said: "What they tell us is that these dogs have been tied up either to cinder blocks or a brick, something heavy to weigh the dogs down obviously so they can throw them in there and die."
Police have been unable to find any leads on the case and have appealed to members of the public for more information.
Brian Ragland, who fishes at the Edwards Park pond, has been left disgusted at the discoveries.
He told Fox: "It is pretty sad and disheartening to hear. I own five dogs and I cannot image doing that to my dogs. Some people are just heartless at cruel."
Whilst Mickal Orange, who often walks near the park with his dog, said he would stop the killer if he encountered them.
He said: "I come out here three or four times a week and walk my dogs. If I saw them doing it, I would stop them.
"It would be my duty to stop them. I don’t know how deep that pond is but I would try and get to them."
One fisherman, who claimed he spotted a dog floating in the water recently, said the park, which does not have any CCTV, is known to attract a "rough crowd."
He added: "This park is known for a rough crowd. There is no shortness of cruelty in this world anymore."
After police uploaded their plea to Facebook, thousands of disgusted dog lovers responded and vowed to help the search.
One user wrote: "I’d like to offer an additional $500 reward for information leading to arrest and conviction of this sick person."
Another added: "They better catch whoever is doing this before I do!!"
