Four Arsenal stars are netting thousands of pounds by selling video messages to fans and businesses online. Gabriel Jesus, Granit Xhaka, Thomas Partey and January signing Jorginho all offer to provide video messages online for a set price, as per The Mirror.
Jesus has only recently returned from a knee injury which kept him out of action since the World Cup in Qatar. Jorginho completed a £12million move from London rivals Chelsea in January to bolster Mikel Arteta's options in midfield.
The Italian's new teammates Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey, along with Jesus and Jorginho, are joined on internet platform Cameo to provide video messages that supporters and businesses pay for. A raft of sports stars, TV celebs and musicians sell messages on Cameo, which takes 25% commission.

The Mirror report states that Jesus - the Gunners’ £45million summer signing on a reported £265,000-a-week contract– gets £287 per video and a whopping £8,200 for recorded business messages. Jorginho is said to make £205 for video greetings on the website and £12,300 for corporate messages.
Swiss midfielder Xhaka gets £98 and £8,200 for offering similar packages to his teammates. Partey offers £246 video clips, while business videos cost £4,100 - with the Ghanaian midfielder saying to one fan in a video: “You have to be ready to wake every day, not to give anything for free, learn from your coaches, teachers, parents and also to respect - always believe in yourself.”
Partey has had two reviews so far for his services on Cameo - both of which rated him at five stars. One review of the Arsenal star said: “Very heartfelt... genuinely seems like he cares.”
One football insider told the Mirror: “There was a time fans would write to clubs and get a personalised message free. That feels like a more innocent time. To be fair, Partey is giving fans heartfelt congratulations and in some cases even advice.”
Arsenal have said the videos were a private agreement between players and Cameo. A spokesman told the Mirror that players regularly record messages of support and sign club letters sent to fans hit by illness or difficult circumstances.
This may be seen as an unwelcome distraction during their Premier League title race with Manchester City. But it seems as though the players are offering support and some heartfelt messages to fans who pay for a video message from their favourite players.
