A second moulding line is being added by a Grimsby specialist engineering company, with a £250,000 investment creating 14 new jobs.
Fowler & Holden is to increase production capacity by 80 per cent as it adds to the existing footprint and repurposes other areas.
The Railway Street firm will also add a sand recycling machine to support the casting process, substantially reducing waste and the need for quarrying.

A new plant room is also planned.
Backing from HSBC has been secured by the company, bought by TGM Partners last year, 12 months on from its centenary.
It is the second major capital investment, with money ploughed in shortly after the buy-out at the 20,000 sq ft site, where more than 25 people are currently employed.
Tim Brooksbank, director, said it was now recruiting, with a further round anticipated in the autumn as a second shift is added.
He said: “The support from HSBC UK has been invaluable in allowing us to fulfil the requirements to secure our domestic supply chain through the expansion of our facilities and investment into a second moulding line.
“Increased government investment into infrastructure coupled with rising international delivery costs has meant that there is more demand for our products and this funding will allow us to grow our business domestically and create new jobs to benefit the local economy.
“We’re also extremely proud to be reducing our environmental impact as a result of the support, proving that foundries and manufacturing facilities can also contribute to sustainability.”
The core business of the £3 million turnover operation is manufacturing and machine castings for large national civil engineering customers, specialising on large and heavy gauge machining and fabrication.
Theodora Akuffo, business banking relationship manager at HSBC UK, said: “Fowler & Holden has demonstrated a clear commitment to manufacturing quality products in a more sustainable manner whilst growing its business in a way that benefits the local community, and we look forward to contributing to its future success."
