Paradox Interactive and Channel 3 announced that FOUNDRY is now available in Early Access on Steam. By being in early access, the development team would now be able to introduce additional content and updates that was previously revealed in the roadmap. These include the likes of new technologies, world updates, UI/UX enhancements, and blueprints. There's even going to be advanced power plants and new decor items. Of course, it also allows the team to obtain adjustment from players and make necessary adjustments based on the community input.
Build your Best Factory
FOUNDRY features a first-person, factory-building, and automation sandbox that's set in a beautiful and procedurally generated voxel open world. Players start by manually mining and processing resources. They then need to craft machinery and develop technologies. Eventually, players should reach a point where they can then automate the whole production line.
However, it's not going to be that easy since they'll need to face various logistic challenges that include planning and managing pipe networks and power systems. At the same time players need to find a way to optimize the ever-growing production lines.
