Adam Lallana delivered an on-air joke at the expense of Gary Neville ahead of Brighton's Premier League encounter with Brentford on Friday evening.
Named on the bench for this fixture, the former Liverpool midfielder took the time to speak to carry out media duties prior to kick-off and was asking about his brief period spent serving as the Seagulls' assistant head coach as the club sought a Graham Potter replacement.
Lallana was asked to help prepare the team for their away trip to Bournemouth last month, though this fixture never took place due to death of Queen Elizabeth II, denying supporters the chance to see the 34-year-old in the dugout. Brighton have since appointed Roberto De Zerbi as Potter's successor, with Lallana now returning to usual first-team role.

Discussing his brief taste of operating as a coach to Jamie Carragher and Neville, he told Sky Sports : "I was fortunate enough a couple of weeks ago to dip my toes into it. It's something I thoroughly enjoyed.
"It's different, longer hours and you don't understand how much work goes into it - you obviously found that out as well," he joked to Neville regarding his disastrous spell in charge of Valencia.
"I was very fortunate to be given that opportunity. I've still probably got a year or two left in me [as a player], but it is something I think I will go into."
Offering one simple piece of advice, Carragher added: "Just don't go to Valencia, stay here!"
