FOSROC Super6 Final: Pink and Black Army ready to back Ayrshire Bulls in Edinburgh

A pink and black army will be on the march to Edinburgh this weekend as the Ayrshire Bulls go in search of more glory.

Pat McArthur's men bid to retain their FOSROC Super6 crown at the DAM Health Stadium against Watsonians on Sunday.

And hundreds of fans are set to head from Milbrae to back their heroes following what club chiefs hailed a "great response" to the team's exploits this season.

Six supporters buses are sold out and will travel along the M8 in a convoy hoping to cheer on the Bulls to more silverware.

Glenn Tippett, Bulls' General Manager, told Ayrshire Live: "The response from our fans has been fantastic and we're going to have a great crowd through in Edinburgh with us backing the boys.

"Huge thanks goes to Jimmy and Alasdair Kirkwood and Billy Lynch for sponsoring the day for us and helping a lot of things come together.

"Their effort is vital to the ongoing success of the club and hopefully it can be rewarded with another important victory.

"Pat has the boys fully prepared following a great campaign and we go there in confident mood. Now it's up to the squad to deliver.

"Having that pink and black army with us will hopefully give the boys the extra push over the line and ensure a fabulous day for all.

"And for those not travelling, the game will be shown live on Ayrshire's biggest screen back in our clubhouse - so hopefully it will be an afternoon and night to remember!"

Watsonians finished top of the table after the regular season by just two points, securing nine wins from their 10 games. A 31-12 win against Heriot’s Rugby at Myreside in the semi-final guaranteed the Edinburgh outfit a trip to Edinburgh Rugby’s home.

The Bulls finished in second, also securing nine wins. They beat Boroughmuir Bears 17-0 at Meggetland on Friday night to secure their spot in the final.

Tickets for Sunday afternoon's final can be purchased HERE.

The game will be broadcast live on Freesports.
