A new limited-time challenge has landed in Fortnite along with the addition of tornadoes and lightning.
The new challenge is only available for a week, but grants a decent chunk of XP (25,000) if you complete it.
This time around, players are tasked with destroying and collecting 3 telescope parts in a single match. This is one of the trickier Seasonal Quests in Chapter 3, Season 1 both because it has to be completed in a single match (you can’t die and go back in) and because you have such a short amount of time to finish it.
But other than that, it’s not so bad. Here’s a map with all telescope locations:
Since you have to find three of these, your best bet is the upper righthand quadrant of the map. There are four telescope locations pretty close to one another here:
- Seven Outpost III landmark in the top right corner of the map near a tree.
- Launchpad landmark on the top island in the smaller building on the north of the island.
- Seven Outpost VII landmark on the bottom island next to the door of the building.
- Sanctuary Named Location on the north side of the westernmost building.
Depending on where you the storm and circle fall, you may have to adjust, but landing at any one of these and then hopping over to the other two should be fairly easy.
When you’re close to the location, check your minimap which will show a little exclamation mark indicating where the telescope can be found (or near enough).
Interact with each of these to complete the mission and nab the 25,000 XP and you’re done. Happy hunting, young padawans!
