To celebrate the release of Avengers: Endgame, Marvel has teamed up with Fortnite developers Epic to create a crossover of epic proportions.
A whole host of Marvel-related content has found its way onto Fornite recently, following the release of the latest hotly-anticipated Avengers movie last week.
Not only have fans been treated to some pretty fancy new skins, but a new Endgame mode has also dropped on Fortnite with the latest patch update.
Here is everything you need to know about the crossover in the latest Fortnite 8.50 patch notes.
What new skins have been released?
Gamers are in luck, because a new Guardians of the Galaxy-themed skin dropped just yesterday.
Users can get their hands on a brand new Star Lord skin for just 1,500 V-Bucks, allowing them to play the game as the charismatic leader of the rag-tag bunch of superheroes.
Along with the new skin comes the Guardian Axe for 500 V-Bucks and The Milano glider for 1,200. Both are based on items Peter Quill/Star-Lord uses in the films.
A "Dance Off" emote, which also comes with the Star-Lord skin set, again has its origins in the much-loved Marvel film when Peter Quill distracts Ronan with his dancing at the end of movie.
The new skin joins the Avengers Black Widow set which arrived last week. This Avengers-themed skin set, portraying Scarlett Johansson's Russian superhero, includes the Widow's Bite pickaxe and the Pirouette emote.
What is Fortnite Endgame?
One of the most exciting aspects of the Fortnite 8.50 update is the Endgame Limited Time Mode.
Not only can players get their hands on Captain America's shield, Thor's axe Stormbreaker, Iron Man's gloves and Hawkeye's bow, but the game also pits a team of superheroes against Thanos and his Chitauri Invaders.
This new collaboration splits 40 players into two teams of 20. You will join either the heroes trying to stop Thanos or fight as one of the Chitauri.
If you join the heroes, you're tasked with trying to find the Avengers items scattered throughout the map to help you stop Thanos from collecting all of the Infinity Stones. Joining Thanos' team sees you start as a generic Chitauri warrior with items including a laser rifle, grenade attack and jetpack to aid in your quest of finding all of the six stones. The first person to find an Infinity Stone then becomes Thanos - and his attacks include a powerful punch, a beam attack and an extra-high jump that causes massive damage when he lands back on the ground.
And unlike the standard mode, players can respawn multiple times when killed - unless Thanos claims all of the Infinity Stones, in which case the Avengers' respawns are deactivated.
