Epic Games has finally added XP coins back into Fortnite. These were commonplace in past Chapter 2 seasons but have been mysteriously absent in Season 5.
The return of XP coins is just one more way to gain XP and level up your Battle Pass, unlock Battle Pass skin styles and go for those coveted special gold and foil skins.
Given that quests are currently broken—though hopefully not for long—this might be your best bet in gaining XP at the moment.
XP Coins are worth the following amounts:
- Green: 5,000 XP
- Blue: 6,500 XP
- Purple: 10,300 XP
- Gold: 15,000 XP
There are 4 Green Coins, 2 Blue Coins, 2 Purple Coins and 1 Gold Coin this week. The Blue XP Coins no longer hide in objects. This week, both are found in water. The Purple XP Coins are both found on mountains. And the Gold XP Coin is next to the Mandalorian’s Razor Crest.

Finding all nine of these will net you a hefty amount of XP.
