The Deadpool skin has finally arrived in Fortnite alongside a new special Deadpool event.
The foul-mouthed Marvel hero has been lurking about all season long, of course, hiding out in his messy closet, hording toilet paper and sending players on all sorts of silly outings.
This week, players have been tasked with finding Deadpool’s 2 pistols which he has irresponsibly left laying around Fortnite HQ.
Previously, Deadpool has left his Big Black Marker, his Plunger, his Stuffed Unicorn and even his Katanas laying about, among other items.
Here’s where to find both pistols.
The first pistol can be found beneath the Challenge Table in the main HQ screen:
As you can see, he’s left it very near where he left one of his chimichangas.
The second location is up through the door on the top left of this first screen where you go to access the various Agents from this season’s Battle Pass. Each of these Agents has two different skin styles to choose from—SHADOW or GHOST—and you can preview these, as well as their cinematics, in this room.
Deadpool’s gun is, surprisingly, not in Skye’s chamber. Instead, you can find it by visiting Meowscles in his gym:
Once you’ve found both of Deadpool’s Pistols—which are also a new weapon in the game itself—head out into a match. The second part of this challenge is simply “Enter a Phone Booth or Portapotty to become the super-est of Superheroes” which is fairly straightforward.
Here’s how to unlock the Deadpool skin:
There are Phone Booths at every spy base and the various Shadow and Ghost Safe Houses across the map, and there are even more Portapotty locations. Your best bet is just to go to The Agency at the center of the map where you should have no trouble finding either.
Presumably, once you emerge from one of these, having completed the Pistols step, you will immediately become Deadpool and the skin will be yours.
This has been quite possibly the easiest “secret” seasonal skin to obtain since Epic began adding these to the Battle Pass. Once upon a time you had to complete nearly every challenge to get the secret skin. For Deadpool, it’s been two triflingly simple challenges each week.
It appears this isn’t the final week of Deadpool challenges, either. There will be another set of challenges next week in order to unlock a second, maskless skin style for Deadpool. We’ll see if there are any more after that.
