'Fortnite' Location: Where To 'Dance With Others To Raise The Disco Ball In An Icy Airplane Hangar'

Here’s how and where to raise the disco ball at an icy airplane hangar for the ‘Fortnite’ Season 10, Week 6 ‘Boogie Down’ challenges.

This week’s Fortnite mission bundle is called ‘Boogie Down’ and the challenges almost all have to do with dancing.

Perhaps the most fabulous of these dance-themed challenges is the disco ball challenge, if only because it takes two players to complete. As fun as dancing alone is, it never hurts to have a partner.

The only icy airplane hangar in the game is, unsurprisingly, located in the snow biome in Frosty Flights. It’s the westernmost hangar, located right here:

Once you arrive at the hangar, you’ll notice that there are two dance floors and in-between these dance floors is a disco ball on a poll. The ball will be on the ground and will remain there until two players start dancing, one on each respective dance floor (not the same dance floor).

The ball will slowly rise up and when it reaches the top you’ll complete the challenge.

Hopefully Boogie Down will also mean the return of the Big Team mode ‘Disco Domination.’ That’s a very fun game mode that we haven’t seen in a long time, and I’d love to play it again, though I have to say I prefer it with five dom points including one in the center of the map rather than just four on the outside of the circles.

Disco Domination

I realize that central point always becomes the hottest, fiercest battle point, but that’s fine. It means that some players have to keep ranging out to the outer points, while the main fight carries on in the center. I feel like this is a lo more balanced and fun than four-point dom. Domination modes should always have uneven numbers of points, after all.

In any case, good luck with this challenge. If you don’t have someone to team up with it can be a bit trickier, but I think playing in Big Team modes like Disco Domination or Team Rumble could be one way around this. Happy dancing!
