Fortnite lily pad, tire and air vent locations and how to complete the challenge

It's Week 4 of the new season of Fortnite and the challenge that everyone is trying to tick off involves a bit of a slog across the map to bounce off a lily pad, tire, and air vent if you want to complete it during a single match.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is underway and following the Combat Cache and Spring Breakout quests, this week's challenge gives players a lesson in movement as well as a juicy 12,000 XP once it's been completed. All you have to do is bounce off a lily pad, a tire, and an air vent; sounds simple enough, right? But there's a bit of map traversal to take on, which makes the task a little tricky.

Things get even more complicated given the fact that everyone is likely heading to the same areas, so they'll be heavily populated. And unless you're lucky enough to run into players willing to give you a break once they see you bouncing around, you're going to have to fend off opponents trying to add you to their killstreak.

We'll leave the staying alive to you, but we've got you covered on where to go to find Fortnite lily pads, tires, and air vents to complete the Week 4 challenge. Happy bouncing!

Where to find Fortnite lily pad, tire and air vent

Fortunately, we're looking at a somewhat concentrated area of the map for Fortnite lily pad, tire, and air vent locations. And as an added bonus, you can plot a route that goes straight through all three. The downside is that this has created a bit of a hotspot so everyone will be bouncing around between these POIs to complete the Week 4 challenge.

Fortnite lily pad

You'll find lily pads floating around Steamy Springs to the southwest of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2's new POI Mega City. Whispering Waters, to the west of Steamy Springs, is worth a visit, as well as other water sources like Placid Pond which you'll find north of Steamy Springs, and east of Mega City. But you should find plenty of them at the springs. Once you've spotted one, just hop on and bounce.

Fortnite air vent

Whether you start at Steamy Springs, or the racetrack, Mega City lies in between, so it makes sense that this should be the second POI you swing by to complete the Fortnite Week 4 challenge during a single match. Mega City is bristling with skyscrapers and buildings that are topped off with air vents. You'll want to zero in on the taller ones to find air vents, so either use the grind rails or scale the buildings to reach them, then have a little bounce.

Fortnite tire

The last stop (or the first, depending on your angle of attack) is the racetrack to the north of Mega City. The task is made a little easier given that you can hop into a vehicle and zoom your way around until you spot one of the many stacks of tires lining the track. You can also try gas stations, but we'd recommend the race track for the abundance of tires and it's also less of a hotspot.

And that's the challenge complete! Of course, you don't have to complete the challenge in one match but it's more efficient, and the route we've mapped out for you should make it easier than going in blind.
