We are sort of in a weird limbo in Fortnite, pretty much in week 11 of a 10 week season, as season 5 is about to end but season 6 doesn’t start until next week. As such, there are minor patches, minor CUBE movements and minor leaks that have come with today’s patch.
Today’s leak is a handful of skins that seem like they’re going to be closing out season 5 sometime in the next week. Usually we see at least twice this many, but it seems season 6 skins are being kept full under wraps, so these last season 5 morsels are all we get.
So, what do we have here?
Nite Nite (Epic)
Ah yes, just what Fortnite needed, creepy clown skins. These are going to be pair with a new balloon item (red, just like in IT) that will be launching next week that allows players to ascend into the air. There’s a second stage you can see here where you can go from CREEPY to CREEPIER (it’s literally called that) by putting on a giant crazy clown head
Nite Nite Girl (Epic)
I don’t actually know what the girl version of the clown skin is called, so I’m just using that as a placeholder. She’s actually not that bad without the clown head on, a bit Harley Quinn, but yeah, definitely terrifying once the giant head goes on. These clown heads are actually what used to top the building in Tomato Town, which OG players may remember.
Balloon Glider
Here’s the associated glider for these two, I sort of wish it was just like a huge bundle of balloons and you’d use it like a victory umbrella but this is good too.
Balloon Back Bling
I think both of these will come with this llama balloon animal back bling, though maybe there’s an alternate I’m not seeing yet for the girl.
Valkyrie (Legendary)
Epic seems now by making female versions of all the Tier 100 Fortnite season skins. They did this last year with Omega/Oblivion and now they’re doing the same with Ragnarok/Valkyrie, though I don’t think she’ll have unlockable armor tiers. Maybe someday the female skin will be tier 100 and the alternate will be the male introduced in the last week. Anyway, the skin looks badass and I’ll buy it just like I did oblivion.
Ice Dragon Glider
Oh did I mention that Valkyrie has an ICE DRAGON GLIDER? Ah, I did mention it, in my title. But yeah, this is amazing and I have little doubt this Game of Thrones-like skin is going to be legendary rarity. And I must have it.
Ice Wings Back Bling
So, that’s everything leaked in this new patch from what I can tell, and I already know I will be skipping the clowns and saving my money for all the Valkyrie stuff. I’d expect to see all of these hit the store within the next week.
