Are you having a tough time getting a score of 3 or higher at five different shooting galleries in Fortnite: Battle Royale?
Does tracking down all those radar signs and then driving past them at 27 mph sound tedious to you?
Well here’s a way you can knock out both challenges in one single match—so long as you can aim.
The trick to solving both these challenges isn’t to play Disco Domination, the only group mode now that 50v50 is gone. No, the trick to solving both these challenges is to go into the Playground LTM.
As we all know, most challenges don’t work in Playground mode. But the Shooting Galleries challenge and the Radar Signs challenge do. I’m not sure why they do, but they do and I’ve tried it to make sure. I was able to complete both challenges in a single match (minus one radar sign because I had to hop away from the PS4 for fifteen minutes or so. If I hadn’t, solving both challenges, each of which requires five separate locations, would have been easy as pie.)
One other tip: You don’t even need a vehicle to solve the Radar Signs challenge. You can use a grappling hook! Simply build a wall just on the other side of the radar sign, walk back in front of the sign, aim your grappling hook and voila! you’ve done it.
Doing this in Playground mode is about as easy as it gets. And that’s a good thing because, let’s face it, those Shooting Galleries are tough. Aiming is already wonky in Fortnite, but at least in combat you have a bit of aim assist (on consoles.) I definitely recommend knocking this one out on PC where aim is much more precise with a mouse than a thumbstick.
In any case, thanks to Twitter user @MerMacey for the tip!
