Fortnite challenges Chapter 3 Season 3 Week 10: How to catch a Zero Point Fish

Fortnite challenges are back for another week in full force as Chapter 3 Season 3 marches on with no end in sight for the time being. This set of challenges pulls in a bit of everything from the season so far. You’ll be using a few of the new weapons, and some of the unvaulted items we’ve been treated to. They’re also a bit harder on average than most other weeks, so clearly, the game is expecting you to be a master at these things by now.

Bounce on a Crash Pad, a Bouncer Slurpshroom, and an off-road tyre in a single match

Bouncing is a lot of fun, but unfortunately, there are no trampolines or bouncy castles in the battle royale mode yet, so you’ll have to make do with what you can find. The Crash Pad is a deployable item that you’ll need to find amongst all the random loot on the ground and in chests. Bouncy Slurpshrooms can be found all over the Reality Falls biome in the southwest corner of the map. Finally, Off-road tyres can be found in almost any gas station on the map. Once you’ve got them, just throw them on the ground and get bouncing.

Damage ten different objects with one spray of the Charge SMG

The Charge SMG is one of this season’s new weapons, and it’s a lot of fun. As the name suggests, you hold down the fire button to charge up a huge burst of shots. You should find an indoor area with lots of objects – Tilted Towers is a great place to do this – and unleash as big a spray as you can manage.

Damage an opponent with a DMR without aiming down sights

The DMR is a fantastic Sniper Rifle, but you’ll need to go scopeless to get this challenge. Snipers are very tricky to manage without using the scope, but you only need to get a single hit for this challenge to complete, so if you try your luck enough times, you’ll eventually succeed.

Damage opponents within 10 seconds of dashing with a Zero Point Fish

Those who have played Fortnite for a long time will be familiar with the Zero Point, but newer players might be wondering what on Earth the source of all power in the universe has to do with fish. It’s a valid question.

You can catch a Zero Point Fish by fishing near the Zero Point – the big glowing orb currently sitting beneath Loot Lake. Once you’ve eaten one of these fish, you’ll be able to double-tap the jump button to dash forward a short distance. All you have to do is shoot someone immediately after dashing.

Drop the Hammer Assault Rifle

It’s a really lame “drop the hammer” joke, that barely even makes sense. You can find a Hammer Assault Rifle anywhere you find random loot, once you’ve got one, just drop it on the ground.

That’s it.

Eliminate a player with the first shot from the Prime Shotgun

The Prime Shotgun is a brilliant weapon where the first shot of a clip does extra damage, making it the perfect way to knock someone on their backside. However, it doesn’t do enough damage for a one-shot kill, so you’ll need to wear them down with another clip, before striking the killing blow with that powerful first shot. It’s difficult, but you can do it with a bit of careful planning.

Travel in a Baller while on water

You can find Ballers all over the Rave Cave, all you need to do is take it on the water; water being the big blue wet thing, you’ve probably heard of it.
