'Fortnite: Battle Royale' Season 6, Week 10 Free Banner Location

Fortnite

The final week of Fortnite season 6 has arrived, and before the winter storm of season 7 hits, the game is throwing a party.

Well, at least according to the loading screen.

The unlocked loading screen after you beat all of Fortnite week 10’s challenges (see those here), shows a big rave led by none other than DJ Yonder. There are a lot of new and old skins around but if you look closer you’ll see two very specific things.

The first is the new AIM robot Hunting Party skin, skulking in the darkness on the left side. The second is a set of coordinates etched on the speaker. G8, G9, H8, H9. That obviously corresponds to a chunk of the map, an area that contains a chunk of Fatal Fields and the split between the desert and the rest of the map. It also contains the spot where the Cube first appeared.

It’s a big search area, but what exactly are we looking for there?

Yep, it’s another banner, the last one of the season. It’s a DJ Yonder banner, as you might expect.

You need to go to the exact intersection of all the different coordinates given, which is a spot just west of where the Cube appeared in that blackened circle that used to be a ring of cacti.

Here’s where that is on the map itself:

And here’s what the banner looks like once you arrive there and have completed all the challenges:

This season has been interesting as we have alternated between free battle pass tiers and banners every week, which has given 10 full weeks of hidden loading screen content, as opposed to seven like we had last season. I hope this continues, though I honestly wouldn’t mind if all ten weeks were battle pass tiers as lord knows I need all the help I can get to hi max rank, and I would appreciate that.

We do not know what the format will be like for season 7, but if Epic liked the way this went, we may see the same thing for the new season. The loading screens are also key in telling the “story” of Fortnite, as we’ve seen with everything from the rocket launch to the Cube, and now the past few weeks have featured the AIM robot, so it seems likely he’ll have a big role to play in season 7. Or at least those who sent him scouting will.

Season 7 will likely feature a number of ice-themed loading screens and hidden prizes, given the clues about what’s coming. Stay tuned for that, and as ever, happy hunting.
