It’s time for a whole new set of weekly challenges in Fortnite: Battle Royale. Season 4 is here, and that means we’ll be searching between objects, tracking down random knick-knacks and following treasure maps for another ten weeks in pursuit of those oh-so-valuable battle stars that we’ll use to unlock higher tiers on the Battle Pass and ever more interesting loot — though I do like the starter skin for this Battle Pass. As usual, the non-combat challenges are some of the easiest or the hardest challenges out there, depending on whether or not you use a guide like this one. This week’s asks you to follow the treasure map found in Tomato Town — if you want to do it yourself, go forth. If not, read the guide below on where to find the treasure.
First, you’ll go to Tomato Town. Most people don’t bother with the map these days, but if you want to find it you’ll need to go to Tomato Town: it looks much like maps from Season 3. It is, however, randomly spawned, so you’ll need to search low and high to actually find the thing. I spent three full matches scouring the place and came up empty, so thanks to Youtube user Flamm for putting me out of my misery. Here’s the map:
Not hard to parse, that one. You’ll want to go to a sunken boat in Loot Lake, just south of a big island — actually, a crashed comet, from the looks of it — and inside the part of the lake that sticks out to the East. Here’s a map of that location:
We’re in a lake this time around, so landing in right at the beginning is going to be your best bet here. Otherwise, it will be slow going making it through the water. All you have to do is land on the boat for the crest to appear, and here’s what that will look like, with the tree from the map in the north:
And once you’ve got it maybe land on the island later for some easy kills.
