The second-to-last week of Fortnite’s Battle Pass Season 3 is upon us. Week 9 comes with an assortment of new challenges, including a brand new treasure map to find. That treasure leads you back to one of the more populated areas on the map, so keep your guard up.
For Week 9 you’ll need to scour Moisty Mires for the map, and when you do you’ll find this:
Now, this one’s a bit tricky. It’s a bit of an optical illusion at play. Finding the treasure requires you to spin the map to the left, like so:
Scouring the giant Fortnite map will lead you to your quarry. That triangular grove of trees appears on the map just to the southeast of Retail Row. It stands like a coniferous arrow pointing across the map, skirting the southern border of one of Fortnite’s busier death villages.
Follow it far enough and you’ll come to a house just to the southwest of Retail Row, right here:
As the map indicates, you’ll want to make your way to the chimney. Destroy it with gusto. Within, you’ll find 10 Battle Stars and get that much closer to the coveted Tier 100.
You don’t have much time left to achieve that goal. Season 3 ends in two weeks. We’re just beginning Week 9 now and Week 10 is the end of the road.
