Happy Batman Day!
To celebrate, why not play some Fortnite? After all, Epic Games is running a huge Batman event beginning today that includes a new set of challenges, free cosmetic rewards and not-so-free skins in the Item Shop where you can buy Catwoman for V-Bucks, and in the Store where you can buy a pretty sweet Batman bundle for real money.
One of the free challenges tasks players with lighting up different Bat Signals outside of Gotham City. Gotham City, it so happens, is a new location on Fortnite’s ever-changing map, located where Tilted Towers / Neo Tilted / Tilted Town used to be.
The Bat Signals themselves are spread out across the map, and they’re not particularly easy to find. I’ve included four in the map below and I’ll update this post as I find more. Let me know on Twitter or Facebook if you find any and I’ll update this guide.
Update: Thanks to my awesome readers, I’ve added several more Bat Signal locations to an updated map below! Read on for all eight!
In any case, here’s the map:
Fortnite Bat Signals locations
- On the mountain east of Pleasant Park overlooking Loot Lake.
- On the mountain containing the Villain Lair northeast of Snobby Shores.
- On the roof of the prison in the Moisty Mires rift zone.
- On the big building in the center of Junk Junction on the roof.
- One on the hill just north of the pirate town in Lazy Lagoon.
- One on the tall pillar in the center of the map between Dusty Depot and Salty Springs.
- One on the hill with the small shack just north of Lucky Landing.
- One on the big hill with the house just to the west of Fatal Fields.
There are probably more! Let’s find them all!
Here are a few screenshots:

The Bat Signal on the tall pillar south of Dusty.
The Bat Signal by Lucky Landing.
It’s kind of funny to see screenshots of Batman himself lighting up these Bat Signals. I picture a very bored Bruce Wayne going out and calling on his alter-ego just to pass the time.
I’m going to keep scrounging around for more of these, but in the meantime this is all you need to complete the challenge.
Just pretend you’re Commissioner Gordon and light these suckers up. And remember: The night is always darkest before the dawn.
