Fortnite is overflowing with brand new challenges this morning.
Both the Rippley vs Sludge mission bundle and the 8-Ball vs Scratch mission bundle dropped today so you’ll be able to unlock cool variants of those skins by completing these new challenges. You can also wrack up a bunch of XP, since each challenge is worth 52,000 xp.
One of the 8-Ball vs Scratch challenges tasks you with visiting a mountain base camp. There are three base camps in the game in total but you just need to visit one to complete the (rather easy) challenge.
Here are the locations of these camps, all of which can be found in the mountains in the southernmost portion of the Chapter 2 map:
Simply glide down to any one of these, or make your way there from wherever you begin your loot hunt, and you’ll complete the challenge. Pretty simple, really. There usually is a bit of loot at these mountain base camps, so starting at any one of them should get you at least the basics. I might go for the one right in the middle there because it’s close to Misty Meadows which is a pretty great spot for loot. But any of the three will do.
