Another week, another chance to collect alien artifacts in order to upgrade your Kymera skin. There are five new artifacts live in week 4 here, meaning you can get up to 20 in total as each is a bundle of 5. (Here are the week 3 artifacts)
So, where are they today? Most of these you will be needing to find in more urban areas of the map, and I’ve marked them with yellow circles below:
To recap, we have:
- An alien artifact right in the middle of Holly Hedges.
- An alien artifact in the eastern half of Weeping Woods by the main building area.
- An alien artifact in a tiny building at the very north of Lazy Lake.
- An alien artifact near the coast on the far eastern edge of Dirty Docks
- An alien artifact in the dead center of Steamy Stacks.
Unlike many other challenges, you are going to want to collect all of these so you can get the maximum amount of material to upgrade your Kymera by the end of the season, as there will likely not be another chance to get it and customize him after this.
There are 20 of these you can get a week, and others come from chests or occasionally challenges. Granted this may not be the highest priority thing to collect if you’re not all that invested in Kymera, but everyone likes a custom skin, and Fortnite only rarely lets you do that, since they’re normally trying to just flat-out sell you different looks.
I would expect at least 10 weeks of batches of 20 artifacts, so tune in next week when another batch goes live and we can tell you where to get them. For now, happy hunting, and I’m sure these will be pretty easy to collect if you know where to look. Just keep an eye out for other players, given that all of these are in somewhat hot drop areas this time around.
