Formula One reconvenes in Bahrain this week for the second and final pre-season test ahead of the 2022 season.
A pair of three-day events provide an early view on which teams and drivers have got into gear following a major rule overhaul ahead of the new campaign and the respective car launches.
Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen prepare for another duel for the title, with that record eighth crown still firmly in the veteran Brit’s sights after his controversial defeat in Abu Dhabi.
It was the Brit who topped the timesheets, ahead of George Russell, in Barcelona as Sergio Perez and Verstappen made do with third and fourth, respectively, in their Red Bulls.
When is the F1 Bahrain test?
The second test will take place between Thursday March 10 and Saturday March 12, 2022, at Sakhir Circuit in Bahrain.
Each day will feature eight hours of running, split into a morning which begins at 7am GMT and an afternoon session, finishing at 4pm with a one-hour lunch break in between.
The Middle Eastern track virtually guarantees good conditions for extensive running while the circuit will also host the season opener, on March 20.
