Former Arsenal and West Ham striker Ian Wright has warned the Hammers about Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak ahead of their Premier League clash with the Magpies this weekend.
Isak made the switch to St James' Park during the summer transfer window for a fee of around £63million and scored against Liverpool on his first start for the club in a close 2-1 defeat.
The Swedish star also scored a disallowed goal in the match against the Reds and impressed once again in the 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace last weekend and having several good chances in front of goal in an entertaining game.

That's why Wright has selected him as one of the players to watch at the moment, telling the Kelly and Wright show: “I like Isak at Newcastle. Another 6ft 4ins striker. When you see the way he scored his first goal. It was unfortunate with his next chance [against Palace] when he tried to dink it.
“I just think at Newcastle, the way he plays, he can play as the number nine. The counter-attacking form. He presses. He has great skill. He could be a really, really good signing. I think he’s going to be a very good signing.”
The Hammers will be hoping their own summer striker signing will be fit to play after Gianluca Scamacca missed their last two fixtures due to injury.
