Former Trump ally calls QAnon ‘total nonsense’ created by the CIA

He added that QAnon is a “disinformation campaign”

Donald Trump’s former national security advisor, Michael Flynn, has allegedly slammed QAnon as “total nonsense” and a “disinformation campaign” – despite his heavy affiliations to the conspiracy theory.

In July, Flynn took the “QAnon oath” and has spoken at a Dallas, Texas QAnon conference. He went on to endorse a site called “Shirt Show USA” that stocked various QAnon merch and other “official” Flynn T-shirts. He even auctioned off a QAnon quilt.

Some QAnon followers were led to believe that the former security advisor was Q himself.

While the FBI considers QAnon a potential source of extremist violence, the cult following essentially believe the Democrats are a secret group of cannibal Satanists.

They also conspire that John F Kennedy Jr is not actually dead. In fact, he ‘will soon reappear and lead America.’ This led many believers to travel to Dallas in hopes of witnessing the miraculous return of JFK – who has been dead 58 years.

Of course, QAnoners were left disappointed when he did not make an appearance.

In a clip released by Lin Wood, a pro-Trump attorney and QAnon supporter, a voice which appears to be Flynn can be heard saying:

“I think it’s a disinformation campaign. I think it’s a disinformation campaign that the CIA created. That’s what I believe. Now, I don’t know that for a fact, but that’s what I think it is. I think it’s a disinformation campaign.

“I find it total nonsense. And I think it’s a disinformation campaign created by the left.”

Naturally, QAnoners were not happy. Some congregated over on Twitter to slam Trump’s “treacherous” former security advisor.

One kicked off saying, “There is no doubt that (disgraced) Lt Gen Michael Flynn is a traitor.”

While another tweeted: “...no wonder #PresidentTrump ran from this treason traitor - give us back our donations - we are going to sue you #MikeFlynn.”

Another angered Twitter user slammed Flynn as “a danger to this country and an obvious traitor to the uniform.”

Others, however, highlighted the hilarity, “The QAnon world is at war with itself.”

“It’s ultimate goal was to help Trump get re-elected. So…it failed,” another added.
