Former Sunderland midfielder Gordon Armstrong has revealed he is worried about the finer details of a takeover at the Black Cats.
The midfielder who now works as a licensed FA intermediary at GA Sports Management claims that a takeover at the Black Cats is close.
It further supports claims that a deal could be completed by the end of the week.
However, he claims that Kyril Louis-Dreyfus and Juan Sartori would have equal shares in the club, while Charlie Methven would run the club in an unofficial role.
Armstrong tweeted: "Been asked for my opinion on possible takeover at SAFC.
"I was slaughtered for this last time so should know better, although I was totally right.
"But here I go, what I heard from a source in SAFC is that deal is very close with [Kyril] Louis-Dreyfus & Juan Sartori in equal amounts of shares,a bit worrying.
"That French kid would not have total control with Charlie Methven and Stuart Donald keeping shares, most worryingly for me, I am told by club insider Methven would run the club if not officially, but he would, this would be disastrous in my opinion."
