If you make a list of the best cornerbacks in the history of the Pittsburgh Steelers, you don’t have to go far before you get to Ike Taylor. Taylor announced on the Pat McAfee show in Thursday he was returning to the Steelers as a scout.
Pittsburgh drafted Taylor out of the University of Louisiana at Lafyette in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL draft. Taylor spent all 12 of his NFL seasons with the Steelers and won two Super Bowls with the team.
Taylor started 140 games with the Steelers and brings a wealth of experience to the scouting department. Taylor has always been passionate about this team, even after he retired from the league in 2014.
