A former Michigan State quarterback had a strong debut in his first game with his new team.
Sam Leavitt led the Arizona State Sun Devils to a blowout win over Wyoming on Saturday night. Leavitt threw for 258 yards and two touchdowns, and also had 47 rushing yards in the 48-7 victory.
Leavitt played one season for the Spartans before transferring to Arizona State in the offseason. Leavitt was a four-star prospect in the 2023 class.
