Former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is clearly showing a desire to return to coaching. In late December it was announced Carroll was interested in the Bears’ top job, and he even recently completed an interview with Chicago. Now, there is another team inquiring about Carroll’s potential services.
NFL insider Ian Rapoport announced the Las Vegas Raiders will be interviewing Carroll on Monday. This marks the second team Carroll will manage to get an interview with during this current cycle.

As I have mentioned several times before, some of Carroll’s top strengths include building a winning culture and bringing stability. If the Chicago Bears have been lacking those traits, then the Raiders certainly haven’t experienced those in over two decades.
Right now there are six teams seeking head coaches, which now includes the Dallas Cowboys who announced they were parting ways with Mike McCarthy. With this many teams looking for their next man, and the fact Carroll has already interviewed twice, it could bode well for his return to the NFL… even if McCarthy is now in the mix as well.
