Former RTE star Gareth O'Callaghan is in hospital following a "very serious crash" in Cork city.
The star radio DJ suffered multiple broken bones as well as a ruptured lung after the collision which happened on Horgan's Quay last Sunday.
Thankfully he's now on the mend, although he remains in CUH receiving treatment, CorkBeo reports.

The crash involved four cars and there was a multi agency response involving the National Ambulance Service, Gardai, and the Cork City Fire Brigade.
A man and woman in their 40s were treated at the scene while Gareth and a female youth were transported to CUH.
The 62-year-old had been driving along the quay when another vehicle hit into the back of his.
His wife Paula and daughter Emma were both in the car at the time, and managed to get free.
He was pulled from the vehicle after hero firefighters cut the roof off to get him free.
He thanked everyone who came to his aid, and added that he'll be taking a break from radio while he recovers.
He shared a photo of the scene showing emergency services coming to his aid.
He said: "I had to postpone my birthday today as I have been in Cork University Hospital since last Sunday following a very serious car crash.
"Thankfully Paula and Emma who managed to get free from the wreckage are recovering at home from bad bruising and shock. We were in heavy, slow-moving traffic on Horgan's Quay at 2.45pm when a car smashed directly into the back of ours, destroying it in seconds.
"Following scans and further tests in CUH on Sunday night, I was told by the surgeons that I have a broken back, a ruptured lung, and some other injuries.
"Just to give you an idea of how serious the crash was, photos here show units of Cork City Fire Brigade and paramedics from the National Ambulance Service working on removing me from what was left of the car, having had to cut off the roof.
"We are deeply grateful to teams from Cork City Fire Brigade, the National Ambulance Service and the Gardaí for taking great care of us. Also our thanks to those who left their own cars in order to help us ahead of the arrival of the emergency services.
"Unfortunately, I'll have to take a break from my radio show until I know what comes next. I have been told my injuries are very serious. My special thanks to the medical teams here at CUH who have been amazing as we try to start to find a way through this awful experience. I'll keep you posted in the coming days."
Gardai confirmed they attended the crash with a spokesperson saying: "Gardaí attended a four vehicle RTC that occurred on Horgan’s Quay, Cork, on Sunday 12th March 2023.
"A female and male in their 40s were treated at the scene while a male in his 60s and a female youth were taken to Cork University Hospital to be treated for their injuries."
