Gareth O'Callaghan has finally returned home after spending over six weeks in hospital following a horror car crash.
Dubliner Gareth and his family were involved in a collision in Cork City in March. Fans got regular updates from his wife, Paula, who has now said that the Classic Hits DJ is finally back home.
A delighted Paula shared a picture of Gareth smiling while holding a pair of crutches on Twitter with the caption: "He’s home!!!!!!!! Finally, after over six weeks my @GarethOCal is home !!! Happiness is ….[heart emoji]"

Fans and well-wishers took to the comments to celebrate his return with one saying: "Best news today!!! So pleased for you both and I wish Gareth the very best for his continued recovery."
Another person added: "Oh that's the best news. So so thrilled to hear that. Great to see you looking well, Gareth. Each and every day is closer to getting better too. Hope you're doing well also, Paula."
Just last week, Gareth had shared a heartwarming update saying he was starting to feel big improvements overall. He said: "Thank you for all the kind comments in recent weeks, and to those of you who have sent handwritten cards, Mass bouquets, novenas, books, poetry, and also the Spotify playlists. I am genuinely so grateful for all the kindness shown to us in so many ways during these past five challenging weeks.
"Thank you again to all of the staff here at the South Infirmary, SIVUH, who have been fantastic with their support and kindness since I arrived here."
