The Baltimore Ravens parted ways with offensive coordinator Greg Roman after the conclusion of their 2022 season, a 24-17 Wild Card Weekend loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Baltimore put together an extensive search for their vacant offensive coordinator position, and have finally settled on Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken.
Following the hiring, multiple former Ravens players took to Twitter to share their opinions, which ended up being very positive. Quarterback Robert Griffin III, wide receiver Dez Bryant and tight end Benjamin Watson all chimed in, applauding Baltimore for their hire of Monken and sharing what they believe he can do for the team’s offensive unit.
Monken’s use of TEs and the run game at @GeorgiaFootball screams PLAY LIKE A RAVEN. Tough. Physical. Smart. No one in College Football had better offensive game plans in big games the last two years than Georgia.@StetsonIv had 14 TDs in SEC Champ and CFP Games this past season.
