Airdrieonians have signed former Rangers and Dundee United midfielder Charlie Telfer.
The 27-year-old, who left Airdrie's League One rivals Falkirk in the summer, joins after a trial period with the Diamonds
He featured in the club's NL Cup semi-final win over Stirling Albion in July, which the club went on to win, and will now join them for the remainder of the League One season.
Telfer's previous clubs also include Livingston and Greenock Morton so he brings a wealth of SPFL experience to the New Broomfield squad.
Diamonds player-boss Rhys McCabe played alongside Telfer at Ibrox during their youth days and is thrilled to get him on board.
He told the Airdrie website: “I’m delighted to get Charlie in, it’s something we’ve been working on for the last couple of weeks. To get it over the line is obviously pleasing for us.
“Charlie can add to the squad in terms of quality and having that experience as well, he’ll be a great addition.”
Telfer said: "I’m really excited, it’s a good group of lads under Rhys and Dycey - their ideas are really good and it’s something that I’m excited to be a part of.
“I’m looking forward to joining up with the group and adding anything I can to help the team get to where we want to be."
