Former Rangers youngster Malcolm Ebiowei has agreed a long-term deal with English Premier League side Crystal Palace after displaying his form at crisis-hit Derby County.
The teenager has been a bright spot for the Rams in dark times as they continue to battle administration and prepare for life in League One. Ebiowei joined Derby in 2021 from Rangers and earned his place in the first-team at 18, making his debut in February of this year.
He scored his first professional goal in April and overall made 16 appearances in the Championship, drawing attention for his 'attacking prowess' according to his new club. Ebiowei will now get the chance to work with Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira as they look to build on a positive first season under his reign. He started his youth career at Arsenal before a move to Scotland with the Ibrox club, and has represented both England and the Netherlands at youth level.
