Former President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he is willing to testify at his upcoming New York criminal hush money trial, scheduled to commence next week. During a news conference held at Mar-a-Lago, Trump expressed his intention to testify, emphasizing his commitment to telling the truth. He stated, 'Yeah, I would testify. I’m testifying. I tell the truth. I mean, all I can do is tell the truth. And the truth is that there’s no case, they have no case.'
Trump is facing 34 counts of falsifying business records related to the reimbursement of hush money payments made prior to the 2016 presidential election. Despite the charges brought against him, the former president has maintained his innocence and entered a plea of not guilty.
