Former President Donald Trump announced that he is scheduled to meet with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in New York City this evening. The meeting is set to take place at Trump Tower, as confirmed by Trump during a news conference.
Both Starmer and President Joe Biden are currently in New York for the 79th United Nations General Assembly, where they are engaging in discussions on global issues and emphasizing their respective countries' priorities.
Expressing his positive views on Starmer, Trump mentioned, 'Yeah, I actually think he’s very nice. I think he ran a great race. He did very well. It’s very early, but he’s popular, and I’ll be seeing him.'
Starmer, who led the UK's Labour Party to a historic victory in July, marked the end of 14 years of Conservative rule with his party's success.
