Speaking to reporters outside the courtroom, Trump expressed his frustration with various aspects of the trial. He criticized Judge Juan Merchan, referring to the courtroom as an 'icebox' due to the cold temperature that both sides have noted.
During his brief interaction with the press, Trump mentioned that the Republican supporters present would address the media later, but clarified that only he would be providing comments at that moment.
It was noted that some of the Republicans in attendance are reportedly positioning themselves as potential running mates for Trump, with Burgum and Ramaswamy being among those speculated. Ramaswamy had shared his thoughts on the proceedings earlier in the day through a detailed social media post.
