Former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is trading in football spikes for four ounce gloves and MMA trunks.
That’s right, ladies and gentleman, “The Gronk” is UFC-bound.
No, he isn’t stepping into the cage and competing against the baddest dudes on the planet. Instead, he’ll be hosting a show, along with the rest of his family, on ESPN Plus called With The Gronks.
More than likely, the layout for the show is similar to Manningcast, which offers alternative commentary for Monday Night Football hosted by brothers Peyton and Eli Manning.
It’ll be interesting to see the approach of the Gronkowski show. Is this going to be a show better-suited for casual MMA fans, or will the Gronkowski family be dropping the sort of deep fight game knowledge hardcore fans can appreciate as well?

UFC 278 features the long-awaited rematch between MMA pound-for-pound king Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards for the welterweight title. A middleweight scrap between former top contender Paulo Costa and former champion Luke Rockhold will serve as the main event.
Brazilian legend Jose Aldo is also scheduled to fight on the card in a bantamweight bout with Merab Dvalishvili.
