Former Ohio State linebacker, Dallas Gant, is heading home. Gant entered the transfer portal in mid-September and now we know where he’ll finish out his college career… the University of Toledo.
Toledo is home for Gant. As a product of St. John’s Jesuit, Gant was ranked as the No. 10 outside linebacker in the country in 247Sports 2018 composite rankings.
Gant was expected to compete for playing time and even a starting position during summer camp after the departure of three seniors at the position from the previous season. However, injuries at inopportune times kept him out as the senior was passed and saw limited playing time.

Now Gant has an opportunity to start over in a familiar place. Here’s to hoping that this young man can stay healthy and make some noise up north for the Rockets.
