Former Ohio State defensive lineman Noah Potter transferring to Cincinnati

Former Ohio State defensive lineman Noah Potter is transferring to Cincinnati (subscription may be required) to play for Luke Fickell.

The news comes after Potter entered the transfer portal in late April and has apparently been looking for where the best fit for him would be after deciding to leave the Buckeye program.

Potter came to Columbus as a highly-regarded 4-star prospect out of Cincinnati Mentor. He never really made his way through the depth chart for significant playing time, but last year was marred by injury. Not only did he suffer a foot injury, but he also had to deal with eye surgery in October. He is the brother of former Ohio State basketball forward Micah Potter who also went the transfer route and landed at Wisconsin.

Potter last appeared on the field for Ohio State back in 2020 when he got in the action in four total games.
