If you would’ve guessed three years ago that Brian Allen would eventually sign a deal worth $8-million per year in the NFL, you would’ve looked crazy. A few years back, the former Michigan State football center was fighting to stay on the Rams roster. On Monday, it was announced that the Los Angeles Rams have re-signed Allen to a three-year, $24-million contract.
A lot of Allen’s success seems to be tied to the great relationship he built this year with new quarterback Matthew Stafford. Stafford frequently praised his center throughout the year and it seems like the two share a great bond, something that is important between a QB and his center.
Rams have agreed to terms with C Brian Allen on a three-year contract.
