Michigan State football had originally picked up Michael O’Shaughnessy as a transfer from Ohio State a year ago to become the starting punter of the future. That decision was obviously made before everyone found out how sensational freshman All-Conference punter Ryan Eckley would be.
In November, Michael O’Shaughnessy entered the portal to find his next stop, and on Tuesday, announced that he would be transferring to the University of North Carolina Charlotte.
Excited to announce I will be grad transferring to the University of North Carolina Charlotte for my final year of eligibility! Thanks to @TheCoachFro @contratto97 @ThePuntFactory for making this happen! #GoNiners @CharlotteFTBL pic.twitter.com/tzKpgwtx65
