Former Manchester United winger Daniel James has emphasised just how much he is "learning" from working under Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa.
The Welshman, who left Old Trafford back in August to join Leeds in a £25million deal, made the admission after scoring twice in the Whites' pulsating 3-3 draw with Aston Villa at Villa Park on Wednesday evening.
After giving Bielsa's side a ninth-minute lead, James netted his second of the night to pull a goal back for the visitors right on the stroke of half-time, making it 3-2, after Villa had raced into a 3-1 lead, inspired by Jacob Ramsey and Philippe Coutinho.
Leeds, however, completed the comeback shortly past the hour mark through Diego Llorente, ensuring they secured an unlikely looking point.
Whilst the result was the most important factor for Leeds, it was an encouraging night for James, who doubled his goals tally for the season with his brace.
Currently being deployed as an out-and-out striker, James has revealed that he is beginning to thrive under Bielsa's methods, outlining how much he is benefiting from his management.
I"t's something that we spoke about the other day," James told BT Sport. "I want to score more goals, I want to get more assists and I've got to keep believing and making them runs.
"I got two today but I have got to keep pushing and keep making them runs.
"We've obviously had injuries in the team and it might not be my preferred position, but I really enjoy playing there.
"I'm learning everyday under him."
Recently, James also hailed the impact Bielsa's training sessions were having on him, hinting that they are much more impressive than what he experienced under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Carrington.
"The detail is second to none," James told BBC Radio Leeds.
"Everything is so fine and detailed. The one-to-one meetings and everyone’s obviously got their individual clips to look at, which he goes through with you.
"The detail of it. I've learnt so much here already and I’ve still got so much to learn, but he’s been absolutely brilliant since I’ve come in.
"There's times where he’s had to reiterate things, but there’s stuff in the games you do which maybe doesn’t get seen, as you said, off the ball I find myself doing without even thinking anymore because we do it in training every single day.
"I've taken so much out of it."
