Paul Parker has urged Dean Henderson to join the Saudi-backed revolution at Newcastle United. Fresh reports in the Manchester Evening News claim the Red Devils goalkeeper was on Tyneside in recent days to discuss a loan move this summer, though Newcastle have played down those links.
A reported swap deal with Martin Dubravka fell through in January due to the Slovakian's desire to stay put at St James' Park. While a loan move is preferable, a permanent deal has not been ruled out as the Magpies look to bolster their ranks ahead of the 2022-23 campaign. The England international - who earned plaudits during a two-year loan stint at Sheffield United - has barely featured since returning to Manchester.
David De Gea is the undisputed number one at Old Trafford and Henderson will require a move if he is to regain his place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad ahead of the World Cup finals. Former Man United defender Parker believes a move to Newcastle would allow the 25-year-old to showcase his talents in a pressure cooker environment.

"Give him the opportunity and go and prove it,” he told India Betting. “You can prove it at Newcastle with the pressure on him from their fans."
"If he’s got an opportunity to play regular football, he’s going to want it. He’s not gonna be sitting down, his ego is not allowing him.
“Newcastle have not got a bad goalkeeper, by the way. The goalkeeping situation was a massive issue at Newcastle, but Dean Henderson is worth a lot of money. Henderson going there will put himself at the forefront and people will really see how good he is.”
