Manchester United great Sir Alex Ferguson is likely to be backing Argentina on Sunday after claiming France would be beaten by Morocco in the semi-finals.
France are looking to become the first nation since Brazil in 1958 and 1962 to win back-to-back World Cups. So far they have looked strong and were impressive during their routine victory over Morocco on Wednesday.
Argentina, meanwhile, have endured a rollercoaster tournament after they lost their opening group stage match to Saudi Arabia. Lionel Scaloni's side have recovered since and won a thrilling quarter-final against the Netherlands before comfortably beating Croatia in the last four.

Looking ahead to Sunday's final, Patrice Evra revealed that his former manager had been in touch to say that Morocco would beat the French before Wednesday's clash. Speaking to Betfair, Evra said: "Every country should worry if France wins the final, because it means we will win the next one and the next one.
"This team that France are playing is a generation that will be ready for the next World Cup as well. Even Didier Deschamps would not have expected another World Cup final because this squad needs experience and leadership.
"What these kids are doing is a miracle. Of course we have experienced players like Antoine Griezmann, Olivier Giroud and Raphael Varane, but the way Aurelien Tchouameni is playing, it's phenomenal.
"France still gets disrespected, people were confident that France would lose against Morocco, even Sir Alex Ferguson called me and said France were going to lose. People forget that France are the World Cup champions."
United have interest on both sides of the final this weekend. Centre-back Varane will be hoping he will face his defensive partner Lisandro Martinez in Lusail.
