B&M has announced the opening of another store in Wales. The popular variety retailer is taking over the former M&S site at the Capital Shopping Park in Cardiff.
Located in Leckwith, the site will become a brand new B&M store and Garden Centre, the launch of which will create more than 70 jobs for local people, B&M has said. M&S shut its doors in autumn 2021 and following a comprehensive internal and external refurbishment programme will officially open its doors as a B&M next month. It will open at 9am on Friday, May 14, 2022.

B&M has said that customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries for the best possible price including a range of food, drink and pet food. There will also be a selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games and gifts.
The large store will also boast its own garden centre, selling hundreds of plant varieties and gardening essentials - perfect timing for those looking to spruce up their gardens in spring. A spokesperson from B&M told WalesOnline: "We're feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store. We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door in May." For more what's on and shopping stories from WalesOnline, you can get our newsletter here.
