Former Love Island contestant with famous popstar dad looks completely different four years after appearing on the show

Former Love Island contestant Savanna Darnell looks almost unrecognisable four years after appearing on the ITV2 dating show. The singer, dancer and model, who lives in Manchester, appeared on the fourth series in 2018.

She was one of the 'bombshells' who arrived later in the series with a mission to tempt the original Islanders when they took a trip into the neighbouring Casa Amor villa. At the time stunning Savanna sported a short blonde hairstyle.

But she's now embracing brunette tresses often worn in braids. The compliments came pouring in as she shared her latest Instagram post with a natural makeup look.

gabbylaurent told her: "You’re glowing wow." Destinyyposts said: "You walked past me on princess street yesterday you looked beautiful." And Ryan Kayode told her: "You look amazing."

Savanna is the daughter of August Darnell the frontman for the 80s group Kid Creole and the Coconuts. The American singer and his band rose to fame in the 80s with hits including Annie, I’m Not Your Daddy, I’m A Wonderful Thing, Baby and Stool Pigeon.

And she is also a performer who teaches fellow music lovers how to dance in heels with her Savvy Heels classes, workshops and parties here in Manchester and in New York. Sadly her Love Island journey only lasted a few days after she wasn't chosen to join the main villa.

Savanna entered Casa Amor on day 26 and was dropped from the island on day 30 of the experience. Love Island, which launched in 2015, returns with a new batch of singles hoping to find love at 9pm on Monday.
