Former Livingston players Lyndon Dykes and Liam Kelly have been named in Steve Clarke's Scotland squad as they look to end a 24-year wait to return to the World Cup.
Keeper Kelly, now at Motherwell, and current Queen's Park Rangers striker Dykes will be aiming to send Scotland to this winter's showpiece event in Qatar - the first time the Tartan Army will have been at a World Cup since France in 1998.
Dykes has been instrumental to the national team's success over the last two seasons and started every game at Euro 2020 and has tallied 21 caps since his debut in September 2020.
Scotland will face Ukraine at Hampden on June 1 with victory then seeing them face Wales in Cardiff four days later for a place in the World Cup. A mouth-watering clash with England would await should they book their place in Qatar. USA and Iran are the other teams in Scotland's potential group.
The invasion of Ukraine by Russia saw their initial fixture pushed back but it's set to go ahead next week.
Following those fixtures, the Scots are immediately in Nations League action with a home clash against Armenia (June 8) being closely followed by away days against Ireland in Dublin (June 11) and a trip to Yerevan for the return fixture against Armenia on June 14.
While the ex-Lions are included, influential defender Kieran Tierney is missing due to injury.
