Former Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has added a new face tattoo to his collection.
The ex-Reds striker didn’t enjoy the best time during his spell on Merseyside. The Italian was signed from AC Milan in the summer of 2014 in a £16m deal, but failed to live up to the hope surrounding his arrival.
After just one season at Anfield, Balotelli was loaned back to Milan in 2015, before being let go to French club Nice a year later on a free transfer. He ended his time at Liverpool with four goals in 28 appearances.

In his latest social media post, Balotelli has shown fans the latest inkwork that he has had on his face. The 31-year-old already had several tattoos on his face and neck, and now there’s another added to the collection.
On his Instagram story, Balotelli posted two photos of either side of his face which showed his new tattoo which read: “MB 439” which is located just under his left eye. The post has come just days after Italy failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, of which he was not included in the recent squad.
In August of 2020, Balotelli showed off his new tattoos on his face which included the words: “black power” above his right eye. His other inkwork includes an eagle feather near his left cheek, a cross symbolising his Christianity on his right cheek, and a gorilla's face and the letter 'm' on either side of his neck.
Since leaving Liverpool, the former Manchester City striker has had stints at Nice, Marseille, Brescia, Monza and he is now at Turkish club Adana Demirspor. He has 11 goals in 25 league appearances this season.
